Just ABS, headstones, and statues. Thanks, shadow church....

Owing to our new Shadow Church in which funerals have become celebrations of life for dear ol' departed Joe or Joanna - who are now in Heaven bowling, fishing, golfing, quilting, cooking, knitting, but never interceding in behalf of their living family members -  cemeteries are a place of solitude for ABS during the first eight days of November as he tries to gain a Plenary Indulgence to apply to the poor souls of his family members suffering unto sanctification in Purgatory.

There are, to be sure, the occasional maintenance worker or Sexton to be seen, reverently discharging their duties, but it is mainly ABS, the headstones, and the statue of Saint Gabriel alone in a place the Shadow Church has no use for.

The Shadow Church (currently lacking substance) has delivered us into the hands of a foreign and faux theology of the evangelicals and other protestants but without the decency to dispense unto us some snappy music from those sources which could help distract us from the woeful and wearying effects of revolutionary modernism.

Couldn't have the Shadow Church at least have given us this to listen to during our crummy celebrations of life ?
