How to be a happy Catholic

In times of novelty and trouble St Vincent of Lerins reminds us to cling to Tradition.  Don't let your own self become worried or sad for Jesus remains the head of His Church and because He established it for two purposes, Salvation and Sanctification, it wouldn't be a bad idea to consider that He chose Francis to be the head of His Church as an exercise of His infinite Justice.

Many claim that Jesus does not chose Popes but that is contrary to the prayers of The Holy Holocaust Liturgy - see The New Roman Missal, Father Lasance, page 482, Good Friday Let us pray, also, for our most blessed Pope N, that Our Lord and God, Who hath chosen him in the order of the episcopacy, may preserve him safe and unharmed to His holy church, to rule God's holy people.

If you allow His Grace to fill your heart and soul, you can live as a happy Catholic (the only kind there ever should be) secure in the knowledge that Jesus is in control.

When ABS returns to the  pew after Holy Communion, ABS remembers to thank Jesus for humbling Himself to come into his heart and soul as pure light. ABS asks Him to burn away all darkness and shadow of sin in his heart and soul and he releases his own self into His care and asks Jesus to compete His work in ABS so that ABS can be the ABS He desires he be rather than the ABS has always chosen to be.

All we really ever have to do is to get out of His way.

Now of course, that does not mean that sodomites ever ought be ordained but, thankfully, ABS doesn't make that decision. ABS can not control those who have free will to resist the Graces from God, all he can do is pray for them and rejoice that ABS  has no authority over others to exercise and to be held to account for that authority.

What can be known with absolute infallible certitude is that God, who desires that all of His creatures attain unto Salvation and Sanctification, desired that all of us alive are, by the will of God, alive at this time because it is during this time that each of us has the easiest time to attain unto Salvation and Sanctification.

Control what you can control - your own self and children - and enjoy life and do not let the world drag you down. The world hates, hates, HATES, happy Catholics. Our Happiness is an affront to the despair and degradation the prince of this world constantly and relentlessly sows. Let his seeds of hatred fall upon a clean, light and happy heart and bounce right off.
