ABS had swollen glands and he called his Doctor and asked to schedule an appointment.
He was told he would not be admitted to the office because he is sick.
Only the healthy are admitted to a Doctor's office in America.
ABS was contacted on Face Time and the Doctor asked him what the symptoms were but, truth be told, on Face Time it’s somewhat difficult for the Doctor to palpate the glands as part of the way to formulate a diagnosis.
The Doc told ABS to keep an eye on the situation and recontact in a fortnight if the glands are still swollen.
ABS wonders if he should pay himself for this self-exam or bill his insurance company.
