The Catholic Church has never had a teaching of contempt about The Jews.
But, in this ecumenical epoch of political accommodation with the ancient and permanent enemies of The Catholic Church, the modern Hierarchy has opened itself to the world, it has become mute about the sins of artificial birth control and fornication and, worst of all, it is silent about sodomy when it is not actively promoting it and it (via Benedict in his trilogy) is silent about the Jews and their need to accept Jesus if they are to be saved.
Ecumenism (The Universal Solvent of Tradition) is execrable in that it insinuates that Indifference is acceptable to Catholics and That The Catholic Church need not strive to teach the truth about the Jews or preach the need for them to convert.
No, the modern drift/inertia is all in the direction of Indifference and Universalism (come on, everyone is saved, right?) and the Church will not teach the truth about The Jews.
