The V2 Rocket, Protestants, and Sally Ride

V2 was the rocket which exploded in the souls of every single flummoxed faithful and it is of no use to claim it was like every council that preceded it because there were no binding doctrines taught and codified in Canons and Decrees and about which one was excommunicated if they did not adhere to them.

So, today, let's have some fun with the doctrinal shrapnel that pieced our souls when the V2 rocket slammed home.

First, let's take a look at what Tradition taught us about the poor protestants.

The Baltimore Catechism, in restating Traditional Catholic Doctrine (Q. 121) explains how it is virtually impossible for a protestant to achieve Salvation;

  • Baltimore Catechism No. 4.docx
  • https://community.logos.com/.../Baltimore-Catechism-No.-4.doc

  • ...If he was validly baptized and never committed a mortal sin, he will be saved; because, believing himself a member of the true Church, he was doing all he could to serve God according to his knowledge and the dictates of his conscience. But if ever he committed a mortal sin, his salvation would be very much more difficult. A mortal sin once committed remains on the soul till it is forgiven. Now, how could his mortal sin be forgiven? Not in the Sacrament of Penance, for the Protestant does not go to confession; and if he does, his minister -- not being a true priest -- has no power to forgive sins. Does he know that without confession it requires an act of perfect contrition to blot out mortal sin, and can he easily make such an act? What we call contrition is often only imperfect contrition -- that is, sorrow for our sins because we fear their punishment in Hell or dread the loss of Heaven. If a Catholic -- with all the instruction he has received about how to make an act of perfect contrition and all the practice he has had in making such acts -- might find it difficult to make an act of perfect contrition after having committed a mortal sin, how much difficulty will not a Protestant have in making an act of perfect contrition, who does not know about this requirement and who has not been taught to make continued acts of perfect contrition all his life. It is to be feared either he would not know of this necessary means of regaining God's friendship, or he would be unable to elicit the necessary act of perfect contrition, and thus the mortal sin would remain upon his soul and he would die an enemy of God.

    If, then, we found a Protestant who never committed a mortal sin after Baptism, and who never had the slightest doubt about the truth of his religion, that person would be saved; because, being baptized, he is a member of the Church, and being free from mortal sin he is a friend of God and could not in justice be condemned to Hell. Such a person would attend Mass and receive the Sacraments if he knew the Catholic Church to be the only true Church.

    I am giving you an example, however, that is rarely found, except in the case of infants or very small children baptized in Protestant sects. All infants rightly baptized by anyone are really children of the Church, no matter what religion their parents may profess. Indeed, all persons who are baptized are children of the Church; but those among them who deny its teaching, reject its Sacraments, and refuse to submit to its lawful pastors, are rebellious children known as heretics.

    (ALL Baptised Protestant children are members of the Catholic Church until they reach the age of maturity and reject the Church's authority; then, they are heretics and outside the perfect society)

    I said I gave you an example that can scarcely be found, namely, of a person not a Catholic, who really never doubted the truth of his religion, and who, moreover, never committed during his whole life a mortal sin. There are so few such persons that we can practically say for all those who are not visibly members of the Catholic Church, believing its doctrines, receiving its Sacraments, and being governed by its visible head, our Holy Father, the Pope, salvation is an extremely difficult matter.

    {+} end of Baltimore Catechism quote {+}

    And now, get a load of this novelty:

     UNITATIS REDINTEGRATIO

    It follows that the separated Churches(23) and Communities as such, though we believe them to be deficient in some respects, have been by no means deprived of significance and importance in the mystery of salvation. For the Spirit of Christ has not refrained from using them as means of salvation which derive their efficacy from the very fullness of grace and truth entrusted to the Church.

    If that is continuity with Tradition and not radical innovation then I am Sally Ride * circling the Earth in space.

    * Sally Ride is dead but there once was a popular song in which The Prophet **,Wilson Pickett, slyly hinted she'd be the first American woman in space.

    ** If the psychotic,  Jew-hating/killing child-raping seizure-experiencing, Mahomet, can be called a prophet, so can Wilson Pickett.

    ABS hopes he is not being too churlish when it comes to Mahomet (MSBHUH -May Scorn Be Heaped Upon Him)

    Hitler's Underoos

    It was about fiddy years ago that ABS ran into Hitler’s uncle at Oktoberfest and after they had thrown back a few flagons of ancient ale, Hitler’s Uncle, Klaus, began to explain to ABS just how difficult life was for he and his wife;

    During Dolphie's last year or so in office, me and the wife would go into town to buy some beer and sausages and every shop we’d go into, the owners would not make eye contact with us. They’d just nervously pick at their Lederhosen and stare down at their wooden clogs and rarely did they say more than a simple, yes or no.

    Klaus then fell silent as he and ABS finished yet another flagon or two of belly-busting beer and as ABS got up to walk away, Klaus Hitler said;

    Look mein freund, you look like a smart businessman. How’d you like to buy a few pairs of my uncle’s underoos?

    I could get you some for, like, 200 Deutschmarks a pair…

    ABS just excused himself and went back to the bar to get yet another flagon of ale and stare at the midgets doing the chicken dance but, even today, ABS kicks himself for missing such a golden opportunity to buy a few pairs of the mass murderer’s underoos.

    THE REICH FIT

    THE 'pristine' underpants of fearsome führer Adolf Hitler have sold for £5,000 at an auction in the US.

    The brutal dictator's briefs, which have a 'surprisingly large' 39-inch waist and are initialled 'A.H.', were left behind in a suite at the luxury Parkhotel Graz in Austria after he stayed there in April 1938.

    Just the Reich fit... The pants were embroidered with Hitler's initials
    The country had been annexed by Nazi Germany less than a month before Hitler and his henchmen's stay.

    Auctioneer Bill Panagopulos said he believed the underwear was sent to the hotel's laundry department and were only returned after Hitler and his entourage had checked out.

    The seller was the grandson of the hotel's owners at the time.

    Bill, who owns Alexander Historical Auctions in Chesapeake City, Maryland, where the 19-inch long white linen shorts sold for $6,737 (£4,991) to a private buyer, said they were in 'pristine' condition.
    He added: "People tend to either buy fearsome Hitler memorabilia, or things that make him look like a buffoon. such as this.
    "To minimise a monster, you make people laugh at him. We've sold underwear belonging to Eva Braun, who was Hitler's wife, before, but never any belonging to Hitler himself. I think this is the first pair to come to market.
    "They were retained in the family who owned the hotel, which is very prestigious, for almost 80 years, and when we got them they were wrapped in tissue paper in a box. They were as clean as if they had just come back from the cleaners.

    The label inside reveals Hitler wore 'Schüler' undercrackers
    "It's a fascinating thing. It's as close as you can get to Adolf Hitler, literally."
    Bill, 58, who ruled out selling the shorts to any member of the political far right before the auction, added: "I imagine the buyer would probably frame the shorts. It would be the most talked about relic in the house."
    Hitler stayed in the hotel a week before Germany's annexation of Austria was put to the Austrian people for ratification - 99.7% supported the move - and Bill believes Hitler was touring the country ahead of the vote.
    The item's description read: "A monogrammed pair of Adolf Hitler's striped white linen under shorts. The shorts are surprisingly large - 19-inches long, with a waist of about 39 inches.

    "There is a single button fly with another button closing the drawers at top, and two tabs adjust the size at the rear of the waist band. There are also two pairs of loops sewn on either side of the front of the waist band, whose purpose must have been to support the drawers in some fashion, probably fastening to the pants.
    "It is no secret, of course, that Hitler was in general an atrocious dresser and preferred the loosest clothing, according to his valet, Karl Wilhelm Krause.
    "The shorts bear his monogram 'A. H.' just to the right of the top of the fly. In as-new condition. They are accompanied by a notarized letter of provenance directly from our consignor. In the letter, he explains that he is the grandson of the previous owners of the Parkhotel Graz, Austria, where Hitler stayed April 3-4, 1938 while traveling through the country, and that these items were left behind in his suite."
    A collarless shirt owned by Hitler also sold for $12,250 (£9,076).

    The Smurfs are Protestant

    Fernando, an illegal alien married a Kentucky native of the Fugate Clan *and he developed a worshipful attitude towards her and then honored her with an oddly appealing bit of art work.

    Well, that is all fine and dandy, ABS, and most people do find that song strangely appealing, especially when one is with a lot of friends, has had too much to drink, and one of the women there asks - Do you remember this one by ABBA?  -and begins singing but what does that have to do with The Smurfs being protestant?

    Curing the Blues in Ireland

    adapted from Am. J. Haem 42: 3-6, 1993

    Prior to WWII, Dr. Deeny practiced medicine in BainbridgeIreland, a town of about 5,000. He was sure that he could treat the cyanosis associated with heart failure by dosing the patients with a reducing agent such as ascorbic acid.

    One morning in his office, he saw outside a deeply cyanosed man walk by! Unable to get outside to stop the man, he went to the local police station and asked if they knew of a blue man in the locality. Dr. Deeny was told there were two, blue men! "Fred and Russell, brothers you know." Deeny had not know about them because the brothers were Protestant while Deeny was Catholic.

    He called on the brothers and asked if they would like to be pink. They agreed to his experiment. So, Dr. Deeny did a controlled experiment and gave one brother a daily dose of ascorbic acid (vitamin C) while the other received a placebo. The treated brother turned pink while the control remained blue.

    It is interesting to consider the origins of the Fugate Clan in Kentucky  (Many people do not think Kentucky is really a state as much as it is a curse) because the first Fugate in America was a man named, Martin Fugate.

     We at ABE Ministry believe that Fugate was pronounced along with a certain hand gesture because it was the surname of a French Hugenot (Huge- Nosed) Protestant family who were colored blue, it is theorised, because God had marked the French apostates out as doomed to Hell.

    So, any man colored blue is definitely protestant and so that includes, obviously, The Smurfs and one can be sure that all Smurfs - and any man with blue skin - is headed for perdition; it is ineluctable.

    Now, to be sure this post has not one justifying or redeeming quality but ABS hopes this will not be considered too churlish for it is, in all honesty, just a bit of masculine fun.

    What to do with Franciscus? Sell him.

    People often ask the Pope to sell the treasures of the Vatican and give the money to the poor but one, sadly, never hears the Curia advising the Church to sell Franciscus on Ebay and then give the money to some traditional order that offers the real Mass.

    It certainly would not be simony and surely some wealthy Mahometan, Piskie, or Sacred-Underoos-wearing Mormon would like to own this chatty chaff with the cheap shoes if only to set him out in some field to keep the crows away from the corn.

    It was with this as a subtext that ABE Ministry (Against Basically Everything) surveyed many family members and friends about their thoughts about Our Pope and Our Cross and the results were interesting;

    18% of the respondents stuck their fingers in their ears and began to scream, NOOoooooo, please don't even mention his name; he makes me mental.

    31% of the respondents were quite tipsy, if not bombed (well, it is an Irish-Algonquin family), when surveyed and they simply sarcastically said, Feck off, and poured another glass of what it was they were drinking.

    However, 51%, a clear and convincing majority, said, Sell him.

    Sell Franciscus?

    Yes, that is the surprising result of the annual Papal Survey and while selling a Pope on Ebay would be contrary to Tradition, such an action would be in keeping with the ceaseless revolutionary ecclesiastical praxis since 1960, so, why not?

    This is the Church of the people and the people have spoken.

    Sell the Pope, not the Papacy.

    The Founder and Chairman of ABE Ministry, Amateur Brain Surgeon, would like to contribute to the effort by suggesting a few sales pitches:

    He comes with a title of authenticity

    He chased 500 of the faithful out of Vatican employment during Christmastide in 2014 so just imagine how easy it will be for him to chase crows out of your cornfield in May.

    We include this vid of Stone the Crows band because the expression, Stone The Crows, was on the minds of many traditionalists aware of who Bergolio was when announcement of his election was made and he took the name, Francis.
