Less or fewer?

 …our futures may be impacted by the micro-chip shortage in the world.  There are less automobiles, and trucks being manufactured now as a result.  I’m sure other electronic industries will suffer also.  It’s crazy how many products have micro-chips in them!  For me, it’ll be a good thing for my business.  There are less big rig trucks being manufactured around the world.

Hey, ABS you know pretty much everything; are you irked about the use of less when the person means fewer?

Excellent question pretend interlocutor. Yes, it i irksome when a person says the less when clearly the person meant fewer. 

The person who is trying to write about fewer automobiles and trucks and big rigs being manufactured wrongly uses less.

OK, but do you hate that person who makes those mistakes less than you hate government interference in your life or do you just simply think that fewer government employees would mean your life would be mo'betta?

Religion dying. Paganism rising

Us Catholics ought be prepared to experience a great increase in the number of seemingly inexplicable activities as The Real Mass is suppressed, Tradition excoriated and mocked, Sacraments neglected or abandoned, Indifferentism instituted and the Faith abandoned.

Religion is dying and paganism is rising and what is our Hierarchy doing in the face of this? It is laser focused on Coronadoom and Climate Change.
