Far less than meets the eye

Ecumenism is the Universal Solvent of Tradition .

O, dear; Christmas has been eaten and it makes me cry.

This Sunday, ABS assisted at the Lil' Licit Liturgy and heard his Pastor lament ...The Church looks so barren today what with all of the Christmas  decorations gone... and it was a significant sigh that was all the more believable despite the fact it was fundamentally unintelligible in that the Pastor has permission (Summorum Ponitificum) to use the Real Mass Ordo and keep Christmastide for the Traditional forty days right up to and including the Feast of the Purification of Mary on Feb 2 (In the Shadow Church that has become The Feast Day of the Holy Groundhog) but he freely chose to follow the revolutionised calendar and Ordo.

The lamentations of the Pastor reminded ABS of this stanza from Lewis Carroll's, The Walrus and the Carpenter:

I weep for you, the Walrus said
I deeply sympthasize.
With sobs and tears he sorted out
Those of the biggest size.
Holding his pocket-handerkerchief
Before his streaming eyes.

The unacknowledged motto of the local Pastor is
I am The Walrus

and that is a coo coo cachoo contagion that remains resistant to even Saint Blaise.
