There are two things two note about this scene from "The Wire."
First, it is literally laugh out loud funny.
Second, this would never pass muster during a reading of the script. Sure, those involved might laugh but everybody involved would know there'd be hell to pay because racism.
Still, funny because this bastid is a flat out corrupt phony politician but scenes such as this would never be approved for production.
