Ecumenism is the Universal Solvent of Tradition .

Heretical attacks against Jesus Christ are often psychological projections

Years ago, ABS wrote a letter to the "Church World," the official paper of the Diocese of Portland, Maine (it includes the entire state) and he wrote the letter in response to a heretical column written by Fr Richard McBrien who claimed that Jesus was ignorant, in error, and sexually tempted (project much, Father?).

O, you didn't know that Fr McBrien was shacked-up and living with his common law wife while a Professor at Notre Dame?

ABS visited the offices of "The Church World" and demanded it print his rebuttal of the material heresy and it did but that did not stop ABS from picketing the Chancery in protest while praying the rosary.

To any passer-by who stopped to inquire about the reasons for the protest, ABS handed-out a copy of the heretical column with several Dogmatic Teachings proving the claims were heretical.

 One day, the mouthpiece for the then Bishop, Joseph Gerry, one Marc Mutty, told ABS, The Bishop agrees with Fr. McBrien.

The next day ABS was graced by a telephone call from one Fr. Michael Henchal, the Chancellor of the Diocese, who was kind enough to inform ABS, All the priests here think you are insane; nobody likes you.

ABS responded, Thanks you for sharing, Father.

And now this about the former liberal Chancellor..

Fr. McBrien:

Those who try and heap-up heresies against Jesus Christ are often just engaged in psychological projection - as can now be seen clearly in hindsight.

Father McBrien, who often appeared on liberal TV talk shows (The only time he wore the collar) was as phony as new churches are architecturally ugly;
