Economic Systems: The alarmists keep telling us their concern about global warming is all about man's stewardship of the environment. But we know that's not true. A United Nations official has now confirmed this.

At a news conference last week in Brussels, Christiana Figueres, executive secretary of U.N.'s Framework Convention on Climate Change, admitted that the goal of environmental activists is not to save the world from ecological calamity but to destroy capitalism.

"This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time, to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years, since the Industrial Revolution," she said.

Referring to a new international treaty environmentalists hope will be adopted at the Paris climate change conference later this year, she added: "This is probably the most difficult task we have ever given ourselves, which is to intentionally transform the economic development model for the first time in human history."

Trump Flips Off Francis, Trumpian Catholics Cheer

And just days after Francis gave him a copy of Laudato Si, begged him to listen, and Trump lied that he would read it. (It’s longer than 140 characters and Trump’s name is not in it anywhere. Boring.)

Me: I boringly think wisdom lies with listening to the Holy Father. But of course, the kneejerk response of the revanchist Trumpified Catholic is “Francis is not speaking infallibly, you know! We’re talking about Prudential Judgment! You can ignore him on climate change! It’s not like he’s a climate expert!”

Yes. I know he’s not speaking infallibly. Neither does my doctor or car mechanic. But common sense says to listen to them when they are talking about their field of expertise, and the morality of how to treat creation is, in fact, within the wheelhouse of the Pope’s expertise.

What if Franciscus learned (he should knew this) the doctors and mechanics he relied upon for his health and transportation were proven liars and not really interested in his health or his transportation?

When it comes to Adultery, Franciscus is a denier it is mortal sin but when it come to Global Warming, he is dogmatic;

Paragraph 305 refers to those in “irregular” situations – a term often used to refer to the divorced and remarried – and says: “Because of forms of conditioning and mitigating factors, it is possible that in an objective situation of sin – which may not be subjectively culpable, or fully such – a person can be living in God’s grace, can love and can also grow in the life of grace and charity, while receiving the Church’s help to this end.”

ROME- Insisting that environmental damage such as global warming amounts to a sin against creation, Pope Francis on Thursday once again called on Christians to join forces to protect the earth on what’s ecumenically designated as the “World Day of Prayer for Creation.”

“To commit a crime against the natural world is a sin against ourselves and a sin against God,” the pope writes, quoting an address the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew gave in Santa Barbara, California, back in 1997.

So, Franciscus claims that a man or a woman living in a state of mortal sin - adultery- can actually be living in a state of grace but putative global warming is a sin for man and bad for nature (anthropocentric global warming is our novel doctrine and all global warming is bad - even when it is not).

Might the lying claims of Franciscus concerning the putative grace to be experienced in the midst of mortal sin actually be a flat out heterodox rejection of the Infallible teachings of the Bible, the Teaching of Jesus Christ, the multimillenial Teaching of Tradition, Magisterium, and Ecclesia?

Might the global warming claims of Franciscus be due to him believing the proven lies of the scientific global warming hoaxers?
