Tucker lives in Washington D.C. where all the Blue Blood Conservatives live...
This is a repost of a very old post but it seems timely today to post it as it has information many men have not yet come to the knowledge of
Interesting that this anti-resurrection piece appears at this time during the Sacred Calendar? Not really. The establishment uses its mephitic myths as secular guards over the tomb of the Confederacy, for if its body of moral memory is ever resurrected, they will have hell to pay and they know it.
Now, this is in no way meant to indicate that we at ABE Ministry attach our hope to such a government (for even it will not be a Catholic Confessional State) but it sure as hell would be infinitely better than the pagan progressive pit we are now forced to do penance in.
Leonard Pitts Jr.: After 150 years, Dixie is still a place apart
On the day after the surrender at Appomattox Courthouse, Abraham Lincoln appeared at a second-floor window of the White House. He was acceding to the wishes of citizens who had gathered to serenade their president in this moment of victory. They called for a speech but Lincoln demurred. Instead he asked the band to play “Dixie.”
.... And yet, they feel quite close. If the “hate” Henry Wise spoke of has dissipated in the 15 decades gone by, what has not faded is Dixie’s sense of itself as a place apart and a people done wrong. Small wonder...
Twice now — at gunpoint in the 1860s, by force of law a century later — the rest of the country has imposed change on the South, made it do what it did not want to do, i.e., extend basic human rights to those it had systematically brutalized and oppressed. No other part of the country has ever experienced that, has ever seen itself so harshly chastised by the rest...
Both times, the act was moral and necessary. ..
Well, except it wasn't either moral or necessary.
The Yankee problem:
Prior to the War for Southern Independence, the 1860 census revealed that more slaves lived in the North than lived in the South:
But, Amateur Brain Surgeon, even if that were true (and what is your point in spewing that nasty hate fact?) surely you must admit that Honest Abe was determined to liberate the slaves.
Not so fast, my pretend questioner, but first things first.
First, we at ABE Ministry (Against Basically Everything) are of the opinion that Honest Abe got his nickname for the same reason a 400 lb mobster gets the nickname, Tiny.
He was a typical republican, a lying collectivist who represented the monied (railroad) interests (Lincoln was a railroad mercantilist) who desired to deport the slaves as the way to liberate them.
You know, it takes about nine seconds to discover these things; read his First Inaugural:
Pitts is a doctrinaire progressive who routinely defends sodomites and insists they be accorded all manner of legal and moral rights but he can not even stand that southern man exists; no, the southern man is the only man in America who is expected to not only repudiate and deny his kith and kin, blood and soil, but to actively hate all that those timeless virtues encapsulate and represent.
And when they press this fetid hatred upon the memories of southern man, demanding that he disappear down the memory hole of the yankee enlightenment, is it any wonder that some of those men begin to hear Levon Helm singing Quantrill's Guerrillas, from the Legend of Jesse James, playing in the juke box of their mind: mind you that is not what is desired but this mendacious hatred of southern man is ceaseless and woe betide the solitary yankee who plays the smart ass with a southern man.
But, such is the nature of the totalitarian, he can not even rest while opposition exists; and you know what the worst part is for he and his ilk and the best part for Amateur Bran Surgeon and those who succor the south?
We both know he and his ilk are losing control of the narrative and the south will rise again for when this crummy country collapses, a regional federation of southern states will form and ol' Pittsy can chill in the north with his homo-homies and he can leave us the hell alone.
